    Description

    Up for bid is a vintage Italian silver salt spoon with a Papal silver coin bowl.  The spoon is 3 inches long and weighs 3 grams.  The bowl is formed from and 1867 5 Sold coin from the reign of Pope Pius IX.  The twist stem is topped with a ball finial.  The piece has not been monogrammed.  There are no marks other than those on the coin.
    Condition on the spoon is good.  There are just the normal signs of use, and the coin still has decent detail.  A nice little coin bowl salt spoon!
