A nice very fine or better stainless steel coin from Italy. This is the 1954 50 Lire coin with a woman's head facing right with the words "REPUBLICA ITALIANA" around it on the obverse. The reverse shows a nude man (Vulcan) standing and hammering on an anvil. It also displays the date, the denomination and the mint mark "R". The coin has general wear with scratches and nicks as well as bag marks, which really are seen in the photos because of the silvery color of the coin itself. However, the coin looks much better than the photos suggest. It retains most of its details with minimum wear and looks great with nice eye appeal. Please carefully review the photos as they are part and parcel of our description.
