Description:
A nice fine or better copper coin from Italy. This is the 1894 ten Centesimi coin with the bust of King Umberto I facing left with a zigzag design around it on the obverse. The king's bust is surrounded with the legend "UMBERTO I RE D'ITALIA". The reverse displays the date and denomination within a wreath. The bottom of the reverse also has the mint mark R for Rome. The coin has general wear and considerable wear to the high points with loss of some of the details especially on the obverse. The coin has some scratches, bag marks and a few minor dings. It looks much better than the photos suggest. The coin is nicely toned and has good eye appeal. Please carefully review the photos as they are part and parcel of our description.
